MEET TRACY:

Tracy Honafius brings a passionate, hopeful, and personable spirit to her work with clients. Drawn to the field through her interest in the ways people grow and heal, Tracy’s path into counseling reflects both professional training and a deep personal calling. Her experiences have shown her the profound impact therapy can have in restoring balance, strengthening relationships, and helping individuals discover their inner resilience.

Tracy’s counseling style is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Trauma-Informed Care. She values integrating practical, evidence-based strategies with an awareness of each client’s unique story. By offering structure, tools, and compassionate presence, she creates a safe space where clients feel supported in addressing their challenges and moving toward growth.

  • Her areas of special interest include family therapy, couples counseling, trauma work, relationship repair, and premarital counseling. Tracy also supports individuals navigating career challenges, parenting, and ADHD-related concerns, with a particular dedication to serving those in the medical and first responder community. She approaches each of these areas with skill, empathy, and a commitment to fostering lasting change.

Tracy warmly welcomes individuals, couples, and families into her practice. She understands that therapy is most effective when clients feel truly seen and accepted, and she strives to provide an environment where people can bring their whole selves without judgment. Clients often describe Tracy as both steady and encouraging—a supportive guide who helps them navigate difficulties while holding hope for what lies ahead.

Outside of her professional role, Tracy finds joy in her love of stories—whether reading, watching, writing, or sharing them with others. She also values spending meaningful time with friends and family, cherishing the connections that bring balance and fulfillment to her life. These passions enrich her work, offering creativity, perspective, and a reminder of the importance of relationships in the healing process.
