MEET NICOLE:
Nicole Bruno is a compassionate and skilled Master’s-level intern in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University. She specializes in trauma-informed care and emotionally focused therapy (EFT), empowering women to heal from trauma, rebuild trust, and find peace. With a collaborative approach, Nicole creates a safe space where clients feel heard, valued, and supported in their journey to healthier relationships.
Nicole’s academic achievements include graduating Summa Cum Laude with her undergraduate degree and excelling in her graduate program. During her residencies, she refined her skills under experienced mentors, gaining expertise in therapeutic micro-skills, addictions counseling, and EFT. While rooted in EFT and Narrative Therapy, Nicole adapts her approach to meet each client’s unique needs, guiding them toward resilience and growth.

Committed to lifelong learning, Nicole integrates trauma-focused methods and is focused on active treatment planning. She is also an advocate for healthy sexuality and a proud supporter of the LGBTQ+ community, helping individuals and couples strengthen intimacy and connection.
Outside her professional life, Nicole finds joy in her family, beachside reading, and celebrating the holidays. Her personal journey, shaped by life experiences and a passion for mental health advocacy, fuels her dedication to helping clients transform their lives.
