JORDAN RAST

“If we are unhappy with our self-views, there are things we can do to change our story… Little steps can lead to big changes and all of us have the ability to act more like the person we want to be.” – Timothy D. Wilson from ‘Strangers to Ourselves’

MEET JORDAN:

Jordan's number one goal is to help others discover the most rewarding and enjoyable version of their lives. He earned his M.A. in Experimental Psychology from Villanova University and worked as a researcher at the Positive Psychology Center at the University of Pennsylvania alongside psychologists including Angela Duckworth and Martin Seligman. He later earned his M.S. in Clinical Psychology from Millersville University. From the first session, clients notice Jordan's ability to create room for vulnerable conversations with an authentic, individualized approach. Naturally enthusiastic and encouraging, he quickly establishes collaborative therapeutic relationships where clients feel heard, valued, and understood.

On a day-to-day level, Jordan focuses on helping clients examine their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, empowering them to play an active role in shaping their lives. Using cognitive behavioral therapy, he helps clients identify unhelpful thinking patterns and shift toward more grounded perspectives. Through an emotion-focused lens, he emphasizes creating a safe environment to process complex emotions in an embodied way, allowing clients to experience and move through feelings fully. Guided by acceptance and commitment therapy, Jordan supports clients in clarifying their core values and taking meaningful actions aligned with those values.
