MEET JANE:

Jane is a compassionate and steady therapist who creates a welcoming space for individuals, couples, and families to feel supported and understood. She approaches therapy with warmth, curiosity, and respect, helping clients explore their stories while uncovering the strengths that will guide them forward in the direction they want to go. Jane believes that healing and growth are possible for everyone, and she walks alongside her clients by fostering emotionally restorative relationships in the therapeutic setting.

In her practice, Jane incorporates non-pathologizing, person-centered and evidence-based approaches such as acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness and narrative strategies, as well as strengths-based and somatic interventions. She adapts each session to fit the needs of her clients by blending practical tools with reflective exploration, grounded in her passionate curiosity about the ways in which individuals construct meaning and seek personal growth.

  • Jane is honored to work alongside individuals facing stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and developmental-life transitions. She is particularly passionate about helping clients navigate interpersonal challenges, issues involving identity, meaning, building emotional awareness and resilience. With sensitivity to cultural and individual diversity, Jane ensures that every client feels respected, valued, and empowered in the counseling space - just as they are. Throughout the therapeutic process, Jane also employs a biopsychosocial approach, regarding her clients as holistic beings existing within the intersections of their physical, social, psychological, emotional, and spiritual health.

Her therapeutic philosophy is rooted in collaboration—she views clients as experts on their own experiences and works with them to co-create goals that feel meaningful and achievable. Jane emphasizes both self-compassion and personal agency, inviting clients to live more presently, clarify and attune to their values, and become more comfortable sitting with themselves in moments of uncertainty. She is honored to witness clients find authentic ways of living.

Beyond her role as a therapist, Jane enjoys going on meditative walks, keeping up with various knitting projects, and connecting with loved ones. Prior to becoming a therapist, Jane was trained as a professional dancer and recognizes the value in engaging the mind-body connection through various forms of movement. These personal passions reflect her belief in mind-body wellness and authentic connection, which she carries back into her clinical work.
