MEET CHEYENNE:

As the first warm point of contact at Sun Point, Cheyenne welcomes each individual, couple, and family with compassion and authenticity as an Intake Coordinator. She is currently completing her Master of Social Work at Alvernia University, building on the foundation of her BSW from Lancaster Bible College. Cheyenne’s professional journey has been deeply shaped by her work as a family case manager for refugees in the Lancaster area, where she supported families navigating complex transitions and new beginnings. Prior to that, she served in a refugee camp in Greece, where she witnessed firsthand both the intense trauma and remarkable resilience of those displaced by conflict and crisis. The depth of suffering and strength she encountered there became the catalyst for her calling to become a therapist, guiding her toward a career of healing and hope.

Cheyenne is known for being compassionate, thoughtful, and authentic in all of her work. She has a particular interest in supporting women’s mental health, grief and trauma recovery, the refugee and immigrant experience, and depression and anxiety. Her lived and professional experiences uniquely position her to walk alongside clients with empathy and cultural sensitivity.

  • Outside of her professional role, Cheyenne enjoys running, hiking, and exploring new places with her husband. She loves travelling and has a passion for languages (currently trying to learn both Dari and German). She also loves creating art and has explored many mediums, from acrylics and watercolor to digital art.

Cheyenne’s commitment to walking alongside individuals through difficult seasons reflects her belief that every person holds resilience, strength, and the potential for growth. At Sun Point, she ensures that each new client feels truly welcomed, cared for, and supported from the very beginning of their journey.
