MEET ANA:

Ana Armas is proud to oversee Operations at Sun Point Counseling where she works across the agency’s departments in order to support our mission of “providing down to earth, evidence-based counseling to help you thrive in life.”  When you meet Ana, you’ll recognize her organizational brilliance to maintain workflow for a top Pennsylvania Counseling Team.  In her role, she works to increase collaboration across executive leadership, while improving our agency’s standards, and developing streamlined processes to help our clients.  

     Ana plays a central role in ensuring client satisfaction by leading a team of four Client Care Coordinators who receive extensive specialized training to ensure a positive and productive therapeutic match.  She enjoys leading the Client Care Team with specialists: Ivan Flores, Carlos Garcia, Jesus Padron and Andres Gonzalez.  Ana has a knack for keeping our team on track from ensuring our HR Department is meeting our Primary Therapist team’s needs to managing operations such as billing, insurance claims, and client satisfaction.  Ana was drawn to join the Sun Point team given our evidence-based approach to counseling.

  •      Ana earned her Bachelor’s in International Business, and she advanced to Executive Leadership at Sun Point within a year of joining the team after demonstrating her passion for exceeding Clinical Excellence, while holding effective operations policies.  Prior to joining Sun Point, Ana worked overseeing international accounts and their strategic planning with multinational clients.  Ana also taught English as a Second Language to Executive leadership in Mexico City businesses.  

         Ana is honored to see individuals’ courageous acts of reaching out to begin their therapy journey.  Whether you reach out with a phone call, text, or email - Ana’s #1 priority is to ensure you receive compassionate and quick answers to get you paired with the best therapist for you.  At Sun Point, you’ll always be met with Ana’s Client Care Team taking the time to listen to your story and ensure they place you with a therapist trained in areas to help you thrive in life.  

         Ana received training to help women and children who were living at the National Migration Institute in Mexico City, awaiting their refugee status. She assisted in teaching children basic reading and math skills, along with providing support to the woman on safety and identifying abusive relationships.  Her experiences there served as one catalyst for wanting to help people overcome trauma in their lives, and led Ana to seeking opportunities to work in outpatient mental health counseling.  

         In her free time, you’ll find Ana visiting nearby towns for the local cuisine. She loves trying new foods, and visiting the local sites every small town has to offer.  Ana also enjoys small adventures with her toddler as she learns to walk and ride her tricycle in nearby parks.
